Library Construction Underway

Burlington Public Library

The addition to the Library is well underway. The Library wrote:

“Every day we see new things happening here at the library. Some of the new furniture has been delivered. Downes Construction is working on landscaping and other outside projects. Staff offices are almost complete. Adult area is being working on now with most of the book stacks installed. Come in and see for yourself all the changes. We know you will love them!”

HARTFORD – Hartford HealthCare and Anthem insurance have finally reached an agreement. The three-year agreement was announced after 2 a.m. Saturday morning.  It will restore in-network access to Hartford HealthCare`s physicians, facilities, programs and services. HARTFORD — Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is holding back funds to state agencies and municipalities to cover an estimated $881.6 million gap built into the newly passed, two-year $41.3 billion budget. Additional $2 million released for electric vehicle rebates

HARTFORD — The state of Connecticut is releasing $2 million in additional funding to continue a consumer rebate program for residents, businesses and municipalities that purchase or least eligible electric vehicles. Under the Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate Program, consumers can receive cash rebates ranging from $750 to $5,000.
