Demolition of Frankies planned for new medical building

Frankie’s of Bristol

Keen Engineering out of Boca Raton, Florida has submitted an extensive proposal to the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission to demolish Frankies Restaurant and replace the prime Rt. 6 location with a new medical building.

The application is submitted to the Inland Wetlands Agency because the property among others on the strip, is still considered wetlands on the well developed road.

Once the proposal is approved by the Wetlands Commission, it paves the way for additional approvals throughout various departments and commissions.

Keen Engineering plans to construct a multi-use Office/Retail building that consists of 7,600 square feet of building space, landscape improvements and 34 parking spaces.

The proposal would also realign the parking lot entrance to match Shop Rite Plaza across the street.

Frankies is currently looking for a new location.
