The Carousel Museum (@necarousel) | Twitter

Looking for some princess fun? Well you and your princess can spend a night at the Carousel Museum at their Princess Sleepover Program on Friday, June 16, 6:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 17, 8:00 a.m.

Princesses will receive a guided tour of the Museum, a ride on their indoor carousel, a visit to the Museum gift shop and an evening snack and light breakfast. The night will also include three Royal Craft Activities.

Princesses will also enjoy folk dancing and learn folk and modern dance steps from around the world.

Children will also create their own masks. Many cultures include masks in their folk art traditions.

While young French noblemen played ring-spearing games on horse-back, young women will play La Grace, a tossing game with hoops.

Princesses will also create a beautifully decorated hoop using caning, ribbons, and flowers.

The Sleepover will sell out soon so the public can register online.

Malloy to use his executive authority to temporarily run state government. If no budget agreement is ready next week, House Speaker […]
