Burlington Roundup – Johnnycake Music Festival Returns June 10

Photo (c) Make a Mark

On Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 3-9pm, the Johnnycake Music Festival at Johnnycake Farm returns for another great year.

The Johnnycake Music Festival brings the whole community together through music. Last year’s event drew almost 1,200 people.

The family friendly festival, features entertainment and musical appearances by Cajun Ray & The Steamers as well as a variety of local talent.

While the music plays, children can enjoy a bounce house and games or join other families in pickup games of baseball, frisbee and cornhole that they have brought to the event.

The Festival is one of Make a Mark’s staple fundraisers along with the annual Chess Tournament and provides an environment the whole family can enjoy in the early summer months.

Partnering with the Burlington Lions Club, the Make a Mark team is able to put on this event where local bands perform, kids play, and everyone can listen to music.

The festival is the embodiment of what the Make a Mark Enrichment Fund is all about: bringing the community together. Click here for more information.

An incredible fireworks show will cap off the evening.

Suggested entry donation is $5/person or $20/family.

Bring your own chairs and blankets and enjoy food from the Lions Club grill or bring your own picnic and beverages.

Rain date is June 11 at 6:00 pm.
