Strange Quark Cask Friday at Fire Fly

Firefly Hollow Brewery 139 Center Street. Bristol, Connecticut

So many great beers on tap this week including Cone Flakes IIPA and the return of Train’s Best English Aleon Thursday!

This English Ale is great coupled with warm weather and good company!

Grab a friend and a pint of Train’s and enjoy an afternoon on our patio. Fire Fly also has cans of Strange Quark IPA and bottles of Dire Chinchilla Imperial Pale Ale to go.

Also, on Thursday, Sonny’s Grinders food truck will be there, enjoy fresh made to order grinders, spring rolls and more!

On Friday 6/2 Fire Fly’s Cask of the Day is Strange Quark IPA dry hopped with Eureka hops. Fire Fly took Strange Quark IPA and made it even more…strange.

The addition of Eureka in this cask will have notes of dank resinous and herbal hops. Enjoy a glass of it with a juicy bratwurst from Ziggy’s food truck.

On Saturday 6/3 enjoy fresh baked daily Harvest Bakery pretzels in the taproom, while supplies last. There will be no have a food truck on Saturday.

On Sunday 6/4 Fire Fly will be joined by the bluegrassy great sounds of Wires and Wood. They’ll be with us playing from 2-4pm.

The visible points include prompts such as “1. What would you most want me to know […]

Falling temps, with rain and wintry mix possible Thursday

Records were shattered today with highs reaching the low and mid 70s.  A few towns managed to reach the upper 70s across western areas.  I hope everyone enjoyed Wednesday because reality will be with us by Thursday with a cold rain, an icy mix and even some snow. A cold front will bring a few scattered showers by Wednesday evening. Then get ready for some BIG changes by Thursday. Thursday will feature falling temperatures with periods of rain which could […]
