Activities and exhibits by Bristol Rotary Club and Bristol Garden Club and other vendors.  The Bristol and Meriden Gem and Mineral Clubs are collaborating for this family-friendly event by presenting “Rocks for All Ages” which will consist of stations that focus on different aspects of the Earth Sciences.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Paint Class

Sunday, May 14th

3:00pm – 5:00 pm

Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center

Mothers, bring your daughter, son, husband, grandparent, or best friend for a fun afternoon paint class! Singles are welcome too!

Each attendee will have their own canvas to paint while the instructor guides your way to a beautiful masterpiece that can stand alone or combined with your guests to make an entire painting!

All ages welcome, but recommended for children over age 5.

Mother’s Day sweets will be available.

Members:                  $30/per couple, $20 per single

Non-Members:         $35/per couple, $25 per single

Registration and Prepayment due by: Wednesday, May 10th.

Bristol Garden Club – Native Plant Sale

Bristol Garden Club will be offering plants from our local garden club member’s yards.  Sun, shade, and partial shade plants, along with trees and shrubs will be for sale.

In addition, we will be selling garden dish flower decorations, fancy pair of gloves with cuffs and embellishments, herbal straw hats, unique containers with plants and succulents, painted slate signs, and individual tomato plants.

Visit the Barnes Nature Gift shop for special plant sale discounts.
