The Bristol Auto Club welcomes back their weekly Saturday Cruise Nights.
The Club announced this week a revised location, “Due to impending construction at the former mall area, we will now be at 430 N. Main St, Bristol, CT
May 6 – October 7 adjacent to Rite-Aid, Burger King and Santander Bank.”
The Cruise Nights are Saturday 5pm – 9pm. Beginning May 6 through October 7.

The Bristol Auto club was founded in 1975 with the premise of educating & serving the general public in the area of our automotive heritage.
For the first thirteen years, the club was limited to a single car show & two dances annually. Starting in 1989, the club has grown significantly!

VERNON — Officials are saying that I-81 westbound in Vernon is shut down following an accident involving a bus and a car. The accident happened between exits 66 and 67. The Vernon Fire Department has responded, as well as two ambulances. Initial reports have that there was a vehicle in the median with heavy damage. No word yet on any injuries. PANAMA CITY (AP) — A source close to the family of Manuel Noreiga says the former Panamanian dictator has died at age 83. The source was not authorized to be quoted by name. MIDDLETOWN – Memorial Day is about remembering the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Many loved ones of veterans went to the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Monday, to pay respects to the thousands of soldiers buried there. WINDSOR LOCKS — For a moment this weekend at Bradley International Airport, there was a flashback to the sun dappled freeways of Southern California of the 1970s. Actor Erik Estrada was traveling through and took a moment to have a picture taken with Connecticut State Trooper Cummings in the terminal. According to comments on the post, Estrada had been at Foxwoods Resort. Estrada starred with Larry Wilcox on “CHiPs” from 1977 to 1983.
