Visions For Vacancies: New Owner to Transform Downtown Building

99 Main St. Bristol, CT 06010

99 Main St. Bristol, CT 06010

Periodically, I’ll feature a commercial building that is for lease or for sale and ask you to tell me what you think would be the best use for it.

99 Main St. Bristol, CT 06010

Forget what zone it’s in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there?

What would be the best use for the community?

Today’s Visions For Vacancies is 99 Main Street.

If all goes well, the former office building circa 1907 will be restored to it’s original red brick exterior with interior exposed brick, wood and Chestnut beams.

The corner lot is one block from the proposed Bristol Hospital Medical Complex.

The property has ample parking in front and in the rear of the property.

Biker’s Edge — the owner — is currently the only space occupied out at the moment.

The ground level 4,500 s.f is ideal for a brewery or restaurant. The second level 4,500 s.f. can be subdivided for professional offices.

The currently Rental Rate is $11 /SF/Year

So, what would you like to see there?

Tell me on the Bristol Roundup Facebook page.

Know of a vacant building I should highlight? Let me know!

Visions For Vacancies is only the featured name of this series of posts and does not necessarily mean the highlighted property is vacant.
