Behind that promise, the goal for the Blues is to not only add to game day offerings, but to expand the total entertainment offerings at Muzzy Field. With that, the Blues announced an agreement with Northeast Wrestling to bring Northeast Wrestling’s “Wrestling Under the Stars Tour” to Bristol’s historic Muzzy Field Friday, July 28. Featuring top superstars from new and around the world, this year’s Wrestling Under the Stars Tour encompasses 9 shows in 6 states and this represents the first time Wrestling Under the Stars has come to Connecticut.

New owner Michael Lombardi is excited to bring Northeast Wrestling to Bristol for the first time for this historic stadium show at Muzzy Field. “We can’t wait to tear the house down,” said Lombardi. “Fans are very excited Wrestlings Under the Stars is coming to Connecticut for the first time, and we’re excited to finally bring prowrestling back to Muzzy Field, and promise to deliver a memorable experience for the fans.” July 28th’s Northeast Wrestling extravaganza is also

scheduled to have meet and greet sessions for fans to meet and have photos taken with wrestling superstars starting at 4:30 pm up to the show’s bell time at 8 pm.

Fergie’s rendition of National Anthem at NBA All-Stars game leaves many confused

LOS ANGELES — Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie sung the National Anthem yesterday at the NBA All-Stars game, and her rendition left many confused. She opted for a more “bluesy” version of the song, and a good portion of people watching weren’t buying it.  Although Fergie was on pitch,  her tempo, musical accompaniment and “sexy” delivery was seen as the wrong choice for the song and the venue. I’ve seen the national anthem performed hundreds of times but never in […]

Black ice possible Monday morning; Warmer temps later this week

Get ready for a BIG warm-up that will end up challenging and possibly shattering Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s record high temperatures. There will be a couple of chances of rain, but nothing significant that would cause any flooding.   After the mid-week warm-up, a cold front will crash through and drop us back to the 50’s on Thursday and 40’s on Friday, still well above average for this time of year. Next significant storm may bother us by the weekend with periods […]
