Bristol police investigate suspicious death

On Monday the Bristol Police Department responded to 66 Timber Lane on an unresponsive person. Upon arrival officers located the home owner Gale McIntyre, age 59, deceased at the home.

The preliminary investigation indicated the manner of death was suspicious.

Bristol Police is currently interviewing neighbors and attempting to locate any witnesses who may have observed anything suspicious in the Timber Lane neighborhood during the day of January 9, 2017.

As Bristol PD Detectives continue to conduct the investigation, the CT State Police Major Crime Unit is collecting evidence at the home.

Bristol Police says “As it is early in this investigation we are unable to disclose additional details without compromising the investigation.”

BREAKING: Fatal crash closes I-91S in Enfield

ENFIELD – Connecticut State Police say a one-car rollover has killed one person on I-91 in Enfield.  The southbound highway is closed while the crash is investigated and cleared.
