Of the hundreds of stories we posted this year, these were the ten most-read, shared, and discussed pieces in 2016.

In a year largely overshadowed by a highly contentious and many would say unusual presidential election, it can be difficult to recall quickly everything that has happened over the past year.

Nevertheless, 2016 has brought with it plenty of news — both good and bad — and as the year came to a close we are taking a look back at some of the Roundup’s biggest stories.

MONTVILLE — A 17-year-old was arrested after a violent home invasion in Montville. State Police say the 17-year-old was arrested after turning himself into his probation officer.
