Annual Santa’s Farm Workshop at Indian Rock Nature Preserve

It’s time for the Annual Santa’s Farm Workshop at Indian Rock Nature Preserve on December 10th and 11th – Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 2:00pm

Enjoy the splendor of Indian Rock’s indoor Winter Wonderland hall of decorated Christmas trees, an indoor waterfall, and a post office for letters to Santa.

Hop aboard the Holiday Hay wagon for a visit to see the farm animals and a trip to Santa’s house to have a photo taken with Santa.

Enjoy Hot Chocolate as you savor tasty treats from our Bake Sale or visit our Vendor Gift Shop and have fun at our Kids Craft Center.

Admission for the event is $8 per person. Children one and under are FREE.

Families are asked to dress appropriately for the hayride. The event is rain/snow/shine.

6-year-old Norwalk girl dies from complications from the flu

NORWALK — In a letter that went home to parents Sunday, school officials confirmed that a six-year-old girl died unexpectedly from complications due to the flu. The child attended Columbus Magnet School  in Norwalk. Principal Medard Thomas said that counselors would be available at the school to help children, staff, and parents process the tragedy.
