Why I am voting for Michael Nicastro

I have never considered myself a highly political person.  I vote, but never really take much interest in the issues at stake.  But this election cycle in all arenas, has brought out a side of me that says “Enough” and is choosing to speak out.

I picked up my mail this afternoon to see a flyer regarding Michael Nicastro and Governor Malloy. The flyer was full of lies! The picture was fake and photo shopped.  The issues on the flyer were full of gloom and doom regarding CT and where the Democrats will take us…  And finally, tying Michael with Malloy that is just a laugh.

Did the Republicans read a newspaper while Michael was Chamber President? Do they remember the Busway? Michael as Chamber President fought so very hard head on with the Governor’s committee, to get good railway service coming through Bristol to Hartford to save the state money.

I heard the same gloom and doom from the Republicans at the Plainville debate. Michael discussed solutions and innovative ideas regarding everything, where the Republican candidate just talked gloom.  On one end you had the glass half empty and on the other end you had the glass half full.

Let me ask all of you? Are you satisfied with looking at the state you live in as a glass that is half empty or is it time to stop complaining and see the glass half full?

I know what Michael believes because I have seen him live the half full life daily for the past 40 years. Michael’s spirit is what is needed in the State Senate.
