Bristol Police to Host Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Bristol Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be holding a Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Anyone wishing to rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs may do so by bringing their drugs to the front lobby of the Bristol Police Department.

The DEA cannot accept needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

NORWALK — In a letter that went home to parents Sunday, school officials confirmed that a six-year-old girl died unexpectedly from complications due to the flu.
