The Older Members’ Association of the Bristol Boys & Girls Club

The Older Members Association of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center will be hosting it’s 10th Annual Pasta Dinner at the Giamatti Little League Center on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

The Older Members’ Association is a unique alumni and volunteer organization that has been an integral part of the Bristol Boys and Girls Club for over 90 years.

The purpose of the Older Members’ Association is to help youth develop and grow as well as further the aims and purpose of the Club.

Since the beginning, the OM’s have contributed over one million dollars and tens of thousands of hours of labor, willingly donated to the Bristol Boys and Girls Club and its members.

They have put their hearts into the Club’s mission and brought their ideas and enthusiasm for hard work and service to the Club.

Tickets for the Pasta Dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Tickets can be purchased at the Boys & Girls Club on West Street or at the door or by emailing oldermembers@gmail.com.

Road back open after fatal 3-car crash in Chaplin

CHAPLIN — Connecticut State Police said a three-car crash led to a fatality Tuesday morning. At around 6:30 a.m., State Police said they responded to the area of 359 Hampton Road in Chaplin for a three car crash. The crash left some people trapped and one person with a life-threatening injury. That person was taken to Windham Hospital.
